SEA HARMONYx, 1937 gaff topsail yawl Venture design of Albert Strange, one of the last Strange Hull: Tropical hardwood copper riveted to steam bent rock elm on a greenheart backbone, wrought iron floors, lead ballast, deck canvassed (2011) over splined Douglas fir planks on oak beams, clamps Douglas fir, exterior bronze chainplates, rudder blade oak with bronze shaft, tube and tiller head (all new 2011), oak tiller. Coachwork: teak trunk and coaming, mahogany frame and panel bulkheads, teak floorboards, two berth/settees with storage below, above and behind, chart table, hanging locker, large fo'c'stle. Galley: Freshwater tank and hand pump, Shipmate wood stove with oven. Rig and sails: Spruce spars, oak bowsprit, spliced wire shrouds and stays, sails all new 2008, jib, forestaysail, main, mizzen, yard and club topsail as designed. Designed and built to be the perfect two person cruising boat, always maintained and sailed, comfortable Atlantic crossing in 1975.
