Description
Built in Canada (and flagged) by a German/Canadian very closely to Colvin's plans right to the tanbark sails! Sabb has the fully variable pitch propeller - great for sailing. The boat has been out for almost two years and 6,000nm - so it needs paint, but in general it is in good shape and we'll be sailing some short offshore legs on our way home to lake ontario this spring, without a thought to the condition of anything. However my philosophy is to go CRUISING not boat building, so even though I'm a builder, this boat has a somewhat rough and simple interior- though safe & functional. Above decks with some fresh paint, she's beautifull with 11 bronze ports on the main cabin and a dark green/cream colour scheme. So in general if you're looking for a cheap perfect gazelle, give up. If you want a solid one for a reasonable price - Pilger may be your boat. If you've never sailed a Gazelle, in short - they are a fantastic "coastal cruiser" and great for shallow places like the Bahamas. She'll come equipped with basic cruising gear eg 2 anchors, 2 rodes, 2 fire extinguishers, 2 life rings, ss wood stove, no dinghy.Key Details
