Sea Hound a beautiful example of a true Crosby Catboat built by the veteran family builder Charles Crosby. she is a true Cape Cat having never being allowed to be altered the slightest degree when built. Sea hound has had very responsible owners who have done their best to keep her original and functionally sound. she has had major work done in 2010/2011 performed at the Pease Boat Works in Chatham Ma. that included a new Center board trunk and logs, bottom planking.....plz inquire to find out the exact extent of work completed and present condition as well as " what she still needs" Her rig is intact, engine is fine and she would be a perfect restoration vessel to preserve her history and pedigree. One can read the Rudder magazine article of April, 1912, vol.27 p290 featuring her build and launching. She is presently stored in the water w/o rig which remains indoors.
